National Scholarship Tau Sigma Scholarship

The Tau Sigma National Honor Society will award multiple scholarships ranging from $750 to $2,000. The total amount of scholarships awarded will range from $10,000 to $20,000.

Scholarship Criteria and Process

The UCF chapter of Tau Sigma offers a $200 scholarship for one Tau Sigma member per academic college at UCF.

The 9 colleges are: Arts & Humanities, Medicine (Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences), Business Administration, Education, Engineering & Computer Science, Health & Public Affairs, Nursing, Rosen College of Hospitality Management, and Sciences.

UCF Tau Sigma Scholarship

The UCF chapter of Tau Sigma National Transfer Honor Society is sponsoring a scholarship competition for members. We will award one scholarship to a member from each of the nine academic colleges:

  • College of Arts & Humanities
  • College of Business Administration
  • College of Education
  • College of Engineering & Computer Science
  • College of Health & Public Affairs
  • College of Medicine (Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences)
  • College of Nursing
  • College of Sciences
  • Rosen College of Hospitality Management

To be eligible, current members will submit a one page essay (250 words) describing integrity and the relevance of academic integrity to transfer students at UCF.

Please submit your essay as a Word document or RTF attachment, by e-mail to the Tau Sigma faculty advisor, Charlene A. Stinard. Entries must be received by 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6, 2011. Decisions are the responsibility of the faculty advisor.
